Movement and Body Expression Workshop
With Denis Niessen
Movement and Body Expression Workshop
Saturday, 22 June, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am with Denis Niessen
The Workshop
Deepen self-knowledge, through oneself and beyond oneself. The goal of the work, based on creativity, is primarily artistic. Body expression is a tool that aims to build a personal body language specific to the student and in the service of dance and movement. These practices allow rediscovering one's anatomy, bringing up a multitude of sensations, feelings, or thoughts, and rehabilitating damaged psychic and/or physical abilities. It is, therefore, a care through a creative approach.
No specific ability or talent is required to engage in these approaches. It is primarily a personal journey, even though dance can be practiced within a group and bring a sense of sharing. There is no age limit to initiate oneself to the practice of dance. Beyond all its health benefits, it gives us the opportunity to meet other people and, above all, to have fun!
