Following on from the International Conference, several professional training workshops will be offered on the weekend of 23 and 24 September 2023.
These workshops are aimed at professional dancers or amateur dancers working professionally in the medical or education sectors, or students.

Dance, health and ageing
Claire Guss-West, a specialist in health through dance, will be leading a workshop on teaching adapted dance to people aged 60-90 and over.

Swedish dancer and choreographer Joakim Stephenson will be leading this workshop exploring the body's expressions and our energy.
Saturday 23 et Sunday 24 septembre
Dance and Parkinson
David Leventhal, founding teacher and director of the Dance for PD programme, will be visiting us from New York for this professional development workshop for teachers trained in dance and Parkinson's.
This workshop will be co-facilitated by Maïté Guérin, teacher and founder of Kinesiphilia/Care To Dance/Fit your Mind.
Pre-requisites: participants must at least have taken the Dance for PD introductory course or equivalent!
